Action Nat is an animated PSA (with many episodes) to help young children understand the many changes brought on by the CoronaVirus. It is thoughtful, creative and very entertaining – and created by a host of big-hearted entertainment professionals from across the country. They also have coloring sheets for kids on their website.
Sesame Street has always had extensive resources on its website for children and parents; now they’ve expanded with “Caring For Each Other,” which has videos, activities, coloring pages and more. There are many suggestions for talking with younger children here, too.
CNN has produced a special Town Hall with Sesame Street and all children’s favorite muppets to help explain the virus, quarantine, social distancing and more. Featuring Dr. Sanjay Gupta and other celebrities. You can watch the first episode here, on CNN. The second town hall will be hosted on May 30th.
